Beautiful symmetry and well colored. Was this 100% colored pencils? I can't tell if the words were done with said medium. If they were, you have a knack for seamless gradients. If not, you have clever execution of preserving the papaer grain effect.

SwatJack responds:

Thank you. Characters, planets and asteroids were colored with colored pencils. However due to poor quality scan (i actually payed for that -_-) i had to adjust contrast and colors in some places using gimp. Space and word were made purely in gimp.On top of that i added comic-book texture. I was aiming for 80' 90' comic-book style. I think ill try markers next time.

Your capability and finished results far surpass mine. I have no right to say where or how you should improve, only you to aspire to. Absolutely beautiful piece.

Thanks for the awesome comment VengerVoldur! Means a lot when people like you can appreciate the work and effort gone into a piece like this.

This is amazing! With a mouse you say? Hmm, maybe I don't need an Intous Pro Med after all. Seems that plenty awesome work can be achieved with the tools I already have.
Fantastic submission, I love your style, and good luck in the challenge.

jermaine1995 responds:

Thanks, i'm glad you like it :)

I LOVE this style! Very different from anything I've seen submitted this month. I'm not familiar with this as a 80's cartoon style, but it is quite amazing.
The poster composition is also quite nice; the title, credits and catch phrase I mean. Has a legitament space opera poster to it. This would make an excellent wall hanging.

GermanMolto responds:

Wow! Thank you very much! You are so nice. Did you finish yours already?

Here's what I think, as per your request:

Great atmospheric piece! The color palette is striking and the overall composition has a lot of energy to it. I like it!

Gas-Mask13 responds:

Thank you for your feedback Im thinking about changing the logo as I feel it doesn't fit the theme seems too "Nickelodeon movie"

A very refined piece with vibrant colors and "pop out at you" lighting. I am quite impressed by the scale and composition of this piece. I also like how you used the silhouette of the Rogue Star as the backdrop for the title; a unique idea relative to other submissions I've seen this month.

ShaquilleSaddler responds:

Thsnk you so much!

Thi is fantastic! I am a user, and fan of colored pencil art, and this does the medium justice. Well done! Great balance to the piece and use of angles. I also think you captured a fair deal of each characters personality in their pose. Kudos there too. And lastly, I quite like the stylistic 'R's in the title name and the bordering.
In my opinion, this is one of the best pieces I've seen submitted so far this month. Good luck!

ThoBeo responds:

Oh wow thanks :3
Well I want to do abit more about coloring but mine white pencil can't pop out to do such thing (I only got color pencil for now). And yeah, though there are still need alot to do to achieve what I aimed for perfectly but I still happy how it turn out to be. I'm glad that you notice what I tried to do with thier pose. I want them to show some personality to fit the story line.
